Silent Film / New Music

This program showcases new music composed and performed by Vox Metropolis live to projected films.  The feature film is Buster Keaton’s 1924 Classic “Sherlock Jr.”.  The ensemble members double on a variety of instruments – piano, keyboards, toy piano, violin, cello, guitar, flutes, saxophone and whistles. Enthusiastically received by audiences, this program can be presented in a variety of settings (concert hall, church venue, art gallery, or movie theatre).
