Final Concert in Hamilton Series – May 29, 2015

The final concert of our debut concert series – Vox Metropolis presents Interactive Classics: an evening of classical music presented with live visual art creation.  This will be a unique concert experience showcasing classical favourites, new music, and visual art in a concert setting.

We are thrilled to be collaborating with fantastic visual artists.
 
Hamilton visual artist Richard Talbot will be live painting on stage.
 
Ottawa digital artist team Luminartists will create live digital visualizer projections that interact with the musical performance.
 

The program will include music for solo cello by Vox Metropolis’ Kirk Starkey.  Kirk is in the process of completing aCanada Council for the Arts funded recording project of his solo cello repertoire and will present this music in the concert.

 
Other program highlights include music by FJ Haydn, Camille Saint-Saens, and Phillipe Gaubert.
